The airport café has been a popular destination for pilots, enthusiasts, and the local community alike. We opened our Pathfinder Cafe 5 years ago and our recruitment continues as we grow our team to meet exceptional demand.
We are recruiting a part-time Sunday trainee breakfast chef to assist our team. You will be part of a first-class team, delivering exacting standards and freshly cooked dishes which will shape the future of the dining experience at Blackbushe Airport.
The emphasis is on home cooked, locally sourced, quality food, focusing in on the staple infamous breakfast at the cafe. We will always offer more, and deliver with a lively, memorable, and generous spirit. A fantastic aeronautical interior ensures a relaxed atmosphere for our visitors to enjoy their meals.
You may well be starting out in a career in catering, or be someone who is experienced in cooking breakfasts, and looking for a part time role to further your experience in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will need to be adept at multi-tasking and the pressures involved in cooking large volumes of food. Your cleanliness and command of kitchen hygiene standards will be impeccable. An excellent communicator, you will be able to work independently when required and as part of a small daily team. Reliability, punctuality, positive attitude and confidence are necessary for this role.
A level 3 food & hygiene qualification is a requirement, but you can obtain this with us. Please note that you must have your own car as the Airport is not connected to any public transport links. An interest in aviation would be great too!
