Work hours 8.00am or 9.00am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Start time can be discussed. Overtime is also available during the week and at weekends.
Essential Requirement:
Applicants must already hold a recognised Pharmacy Dispensing qualification (NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent). Applications from candidates without a dispensing qualification will not be considered.
Job description
We are looking to recruit a full Pharmacy Technician or pharmacy assistant with a minimum of 1 years experience at our branch located in Coventry, knowledge of proscript preferred but not essential.
We are distance-selling pharmacy so the right candidate must be good at using various computer software and systems and have exceptional communication skills via social media, emails and telephone. This is often a fast paced environment and we're looking for people with a genuine passion for pharmacy. If you are interested in further developing your professional career, we can support you towards achieving this goal.
The right candidate will also be required to successfully complete a 3 month probationary period.

- support the management of the day to day operation of the pharmacy, eg clinical governance, business operation and processes, including where appropriate the supervision of members of staff

- ensure patient safety, by promoting safe practices, and the effective use of systems
- provide specialist services in response to local and national needs and initiatives
