DLI Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their Team of Precision Engineers in Trimdon, Co Durham who manufacture parts for the Oil, Gas & Aerospace Industries. We are continuing to invest in New Machinery.
As part of a successful team this role requires the candidate to have experience of:
- Programming and Setting Mazak Machines for one off components using Mazatrol programming
- The ability to machine a variety of exotic materials including Inconel, Super Duplex, Titanium etc.
- Experience machining medium to large components supplied to the Oil, Gas and Aerospace Industry Standards
It is essential that the applicant have experience of:
- Programming using Mazatrol high precision controls
- Machining to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpret engineering drawings
- Time served Engineer
As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage one offs and small batch runs, this is an interesting and varied position working with your "Buddy" on the opposite shift. This position requires a strong Team Player who will share knowledge and experience.
There are various shift patterns 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm and Night Shift with an opportunity of overtime as required.
