Are you good at explaining things clearly and helping people make the right decision for them? This role puts those skills to work in a face-to-face sales environment, with full training given and no experience necessary.
Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation in Southampton, looking for confident, approachable individuals to join as Customer Sales Advisors. You'll be trained from day one to represent well-known charities and brands, advising members of the public and helping them find the right fit for their needs.
About the Role
As a Customer Sales Advisor, you'll spend your day speaking directly with people across Southampton, acting as a trusted point of contact for the charity or brand you represent. Your role is to advise, not just sell - understanding what matters to each person, answering their questions honestly, and recommending the right way for them to get involved.
Once someone's decided to support the cause, you'll advise them through the sign-up process step by step, making sure they fully understand what they're agreeing to and feel confident in their decision.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising members of the public in clear, honest, face-to-face conversations.
- Explaining each charity's mission, values, and current campaigns in a way that's easy to understand.
- Listening to questions or concerns and responding with accurate, helpful information.
- Recommending the right level of support or involvement for each individual.
- Guiding new supporters through sign-up, checking every detail is correct.
- Working towards personal and team sales targets.
- Taking part in ongoing training in advisory skills, communication, and sales technique.
What We're Looking For
You'll be well suited to this role if you are:
- A clear, confident communicator who enjoys explaining things simply.
- Genuinely interested in giving people good advice, not just making a sale.
- Patient and a strong listener.
- Positive, resilient, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable in a customer-facing, target-driven environment.
Backgrounds in retail, customer service, hospitality, call centres, financial services, or graduates looking to build advisory and sales experience are all welcome - no previous experience is required.
What You'll Receive
- Full training and structured onboarding, with ongoing coaching from experienced team members.
- Total earnings ranging between £1,935 and £2000 per calendar month, made up of a base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period).
