We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our growing dental practice. We anticipate the successful candidate would start work in August.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes efficiently using IT systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards.
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Organise clinical supplies and ensure the cleanliness of all areas within the practice.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental practice is essential
- Candidates should be qualified dental nurses and registered with the General Dental Council
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is desirable but not mandatory; relevant training will be offered for those eager to learn.
