Job Overview
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Chocolate Production Operatives to join our day-shift manufacturing team on a zero hours contract. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced food production environment, helping to create high-quality premium chocolate products. Full training will be provided.
Duties
- Operate chocolate production machinery safely and efficiently following training.
- Work on production lines to achieve daily output and quality targets.
- Uphold health & safety procedures and food safety standards at all times.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and maintain audit-ready areas.
- Carry out “clean as you go” practices to maintain hygiene and organisation.
- Pack finished products to required line standards, reporting any issues to the Team Leader.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Complete regular quality checks, identifying defects and ensuring products meet specification.
- Support colleagues to resolve production or quality issues quickly.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns or contamination.
- Report accidents, near misses, or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Pay: £12.75 per hour
