We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, maintain the shop's appearance, and support the overall operations.
Responsibilities
-Taking bookings for tee times and for lessons gathering customers data
-Making sure booking sheets are up to date
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting members & visitors with queries and purchases
- Keep the shop floor tidy and organised
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Support with receiving deliveries and checking goods
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Upsell products to increase sales
Qualifications
- Proficient in English
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries professionally
- Organisational skills to maintain a neat shop layout
- Ability to sell products persuasively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
