To become a HR Administrator in our Human Resources department, we need someone who is organised, motivated and has a good understanding of confidentiality.

Although this position is based at our Redditch campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.
Responsibilities
AIM AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the role is:
· To support the HR Team in providing a high quality, professional and pro-active HR service to managers and staff.
· To support the HR Team with their day-to-day duties.
· To act as the first point of contact for HR related queries from employees and external partners
KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To assist the HR team with recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, ensuring these processes reflect a positive image of the college as an employer.
· To carry out pre-employment checks for all new starters such as requesting references, identity checks, DBS checks, etc to maintain compliance with safeguarding requirements.
· To provide administrative support to the HR Team such as producing and preparing HR documentation including producing offer letters and contracts of employment, etc.
· To maintain and take responsibility for HR databases and registers, including the College’s Single Central Register, to ensure information is kept accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
· Creation and maintenance of employee records using the computerised staffing system, including the monthly payroll amendments.
· Update the HR system as and when required and support the HR Team with upcoming system changes.
· Provide basic HR advice and guidance to managers and employees and respond to incoming communications via telephone/email, directing to the appropriate HR team member where appropriate.
· To support the HR Advisor with probationary paperwork, including chasing managers and uploading and issuing probation related documents in a timely manner.
· To process payroll amendments and deal with general contract queries, liaising with payroll as and when required.
· Support HR projects and contribute to continuous service improvement.
· Take responsibility for own continuous professional development.
· Ensure all HR activities comply with the GDPR and relevant employment policies.
· Comply with Health & Safety and Equality policies and undertake other reasonable duties as required.
Pay: £24,556.00-£25,381.00 per year
