Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for their visit
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, service stations, and front-of-house spaces
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and replenishing supplies during service
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that makes guests feel valued
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food handling and preparation processes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels
