Role and Responsibilities
· Manufacture of number plate components for plain, printed acrylic and reflective material.
· Machine Preparation and Preventative Maintenance to keep machinery to correct standard.
· Identifying issues and corrective actions to enable minimal downtime.
· Operating Laser and Summa to cover breaks to maximise efficiency.
· Running Wide Format Laminator and schedule rotation of Shift Operators on machine.
· Responsible for H&S on shift, Fire Marshall, Keyholder and appointed responsible person for First Aid cover.
· Maintaining department to 5S standard and FIFO.
· Point of contact for escalation, reporting issues and requirements on hourly IOC board.
· Maximise efficiency using OEE.
· Placing finished stock in BC and general label printing.
· Pallet lifter operation.
· Stock take.
· Other factory floor duties.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Math and English GCSE or equivalent

Desirable competencies
· Experience in Microsoft Dynamics BC or other ERP software
· Experience in 5S, OEE, QDCP
Ability to problem solving machine issues and fix or escalate to appropriate channels

Pay: £29,260.02 per year
