Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials such as slate & concrete tiles.
- Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs efficiently and safely to extend their lifespan
- Inspect roofs regularly to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete roofing projects on time and within scope
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar roofing installation or repair role
- Knowledge of different roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or project specifications
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights comfortably
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with roof inspection tools and basic knowledge of construction safety regulations
