About the Role
We are looking for a flexible, friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Provide product information and recommendations.
- Process transactions accurately using the till/POS system.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
- Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented.
- Receive and unpack deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting.
This is a seasonal job, with the successful candidates being able to start their employment with immediate effect, through to mid November.
Exact shifts will be discussed following application.
