Overview
A friendly family based in Claygate is looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised part-time housekeeper/nanny to support their busy family home and two young daughters, aged 2 and 4.
This is a housekeeping-led position, with an approximate 70% housekeeping and 30% childcare split, together with some family assistant responsibilities. The family is looking for someone who can work independently, see what needs doing and take responsibility for keeping the home organised and family life running smoothly.
The family lives in a six-bedroom, three-bathroom home, with a separate weekly deep-cleaning service. The focus of this role will be the ongoing upkeep and organisation of the home, family laundry, simple family cooking, household errands and practical family support.
The childcare element will primarily include occasional afternoon school pick-ups, preparing snacks or dinner and providing some support with the girls when required. The successful candidate should therefore combine strong housekeeping skills with relevant childcare experience and genuinely enjoy being around young children.
Cooking is an important part of the role, and the family would particularly welcome someone who enjoys preparing simple family meals and batch cooking.
