We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Sales Advisor to join our team. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- To work within the sales department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner.
- To answer all calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- To support the firm’s goals through excellent customer service skills and by converting incoming enquiries into sales.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English.
- Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet.
- Experience of providing specialised sales advice to support customer requirements.
- Thorough understanding of motor quote systems and products.
- Has undertaken (or is willing to undertake) relevant customer service and insurance training.

- Ability to gather and analyse information from the customer.
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual customer’s level of understanding.

ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- To identify potential sales from all incoming calls and enquiries.
- To analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.
- To complete all supporting documentation in a timely, compliant and accurate manner.
- To support the departmental Key Performance Indicators and sales targets as directed by the Sales Manager.
- To comply at all times with the requirements of the firm’s own policy and procedures, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and FCA regulations.
- To be aware of, and to follow at all times, the firm’s policy on Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty.
- To be aware of, and to follow at all times, the firm’s standards of ethical behaviour.
- To maintain customer records accurately and securely in accordance with the firm’s own record keeping requirements and following data protection rules.
- To maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the Training and Competence procedures and continued professional training and development requirements of the firm.
- To undertake all other duties as reasonably required and directed.
SPECIFIC KEY TASKS & TARGETS
- To be specified as appropriate, in advance for each Performance Review Period.
Pay: £25,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
