About us
At Menzies LLP, we are dedicated to being a leading firm of advisers and accountants for individuals and businesses. Our approach is driven by BRIGHTER THINKING - combining finance expertise with strategic insight, all while staying true to our core values: Inspire, Innovate, Collaborate, and Empathise.
Proudly recognised as one of the Best Graduate & Apprenticeship Employers for the past five years by JobCrowd.com, we are committed to nurturing future talent.
Our Risk, Assurance and Advisory team plays a vital role in assisting our clients to achieve their strategic objectives. The team provides assurance and consulting services to improve the governance, risk management and control processes supporting decision making and overall performance, adding value and ensuring operations are effective, efficient, and compliant.
You'll work with predominantly not-for-profit and public sector organisations to evaluate how well risks are being managed, how the business is running, and if current internal processes are sufficient or could be improved. The work of the team covers all aspects of client performance, from Board level governance, strategic planning and value for money, to HR, health and safety and front-line operations, and complements the work on financial control and the financial statements undertaken by the client’s corporate auditors.
Alongside gaining hands-on experience, you’ll work towards a recognised professional qualification relevant to your role, helping you build the technical knowledge and practical skills you’ll need as your career develops.
Depending on your pathway, you may start with either the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors Foundations of Internal Auditing (FIA) or the Internal Audit Practitioner (IAP) qualification.
Both routes are designed to give you a strong professional foundation to work towards the full Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation, combining structured learning with the opportunity to apply what you learn in your day-to-day work. You’ll be supported throughout your studies.
Please note this role is due to start in January 2027.
