Care and kindness are at the core of what we do, and in this dynamic role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring smooth operations from greeting guests and having a chat about their day, to managing their dining experience.
Enthusiasm and attention to detail will be key in helping to foster a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back! Equally important is the ability to work well within a team of both front and back of house colleagues.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of guest service
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling processes
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and maintain smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures
- Experience with serving beverages and food in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Cocktail knowledge preferred
- Barista trained preferred
