As a Barista, you will be responsible for consistently deliver high-quality drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee counter area, including food preparation stations, equipment, and sitting areas.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience in a speciality coffee setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
