Vehicle Mechanic

We’re looking for a down to earth, dependable mechanic to join a long-established, family-run firm where you’ll work in a fast-paced and supportive environment maintaining a fleet of light vehicles.
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing and checking over vehicles to make sure they’re road ready
- Sorting out mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of light vehicles
- Performing vehicle repairs and modifications as needed
- Completing pre-MOT checks to prep the vehicles for testing
- Keeping accurate records and reporting major issues to the Garage Line Managers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Supporting the wider garage team with tasks as needed
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Solid Experience in the maintenance, service, and repair of light vehicles
- Ability to identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults confidently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A team player who's a good communicator
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible, professional, and committed to quality work
Salary from: £40,000 - £45,000 per year
Monday - Friday only (No Weekends)
