Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home
Crewe (CW1)
Salary: Up to £68,000 per annum
Performance Bonus:
- £5,000 for achieving an Outstanding rating
- £2,500 for achieving a Good rating
- Mileage paid
- Flexible working arrangement available, including up to 2 days remote working once the second home's staffing structure is established.
The organisation has ONE home rates GOOD and required a Registered Manager for a SECOND home in Children's Residential.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold registration with Ofsted and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team, including recruitment
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent standards of care.
- Ensure children receive person-centred support tailored to their individual needs.
- Manage safeguarding practices and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Oversee budgets, staffing, occupancy, and operational performance.
- Develop positive relationships with local authorities, professionals, and stakeholders.
- Work towards achieving and maintaining Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
About You
We are looking for a leader who is:
- An experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready for the next step.
- Qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Level 3 in Children's Residential
- Experienced within children's residential care settings.
- Knowledgeable of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Confident in leading teams and driving service development.
