Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to individuals in our Nursing home ensuring our residents comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, and have a genuine interest in caring for others. Previous experience in care environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the home
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professional
Experience
- Previous experience working in a Nursing home setting is desirable but not essential as full training and mentoring will be provided.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic IT skills for updating care records and documentation
