Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks at our site in Thongsbridge, supporting the smooth operation of projects and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and used to a physical role.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Preparing work site by clearing debris and maintaining the housekeeping of the workshops to a high standard
- Supporting joiners with lifting and general duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times during tasks
- Assisting with site maintenance, including waste disposal and minor repairs as required
- May be required on occasion to help on site joiners and other duties away from the main workshop site
Skills
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a construction or industrial environment
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Previous experience in labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions and report issues effectively

Hours of work: Mon-Fri 8-5pm Friday 8-230pm
Pay: £10.85-£13.71 per hour
