Account Manager – FMCG | Ringwood
If you enjoy working with high‑volume consumer products, major UK retailers, and fast‑moving commercial projects, this Account Manager role will keep you right where the action is. You’ll be part of a team that develops, produces and delivers bespoke FMCG products for well‑known retail names across the UK, Europe and the US — from the first concept sketch through to final delivery.
You’ll manage key retail accounts, drive new business, and play a central role in product development (NPD), design briefing, commercial planning and project delivery. It’s a role for someone who likes owning their accounts, influencing product direction, and seeing ideas turn into real products on shelves.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and growing key FMCG retail accounts
- Working with the Sales Director to secure new business and expand existing customers
- Spotting commercial opportunities and pitching new product concepts
- Leading NPD activity: briefing design teams, reviewing artwork, shaping product direction
- Managing project commercials including pricing, profitability and margin protection
- Coordinating customer requirements from order through to delivery
- Working closely with logistics, warehouse, marketing, finance and external suppliers
- Ensuring deadlines, quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met
What you bring
- Experience in FMCG account management or product‑based sales
- Strong relationship‑building skills with retail or consumer‑goods customers
- Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment
- A customer‑focused approach and a commercial mindset

International travel may be required throughout the year, particularly for trade shows. A clean driving licence and your own transport are essential.
