Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Afterschool & Holiday Club Manager to oversee our children's activity programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising engaging activities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and fostering a positive environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and supervise engaging afterschool and holiday activities suitable for children of various ages.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in programme care at all times.
- be lead for Ofsted Inspections
- Manage daily operations, including registration, attendance records, and communication with parents or guardians.
- Lead a team of activity assistants or staff, providing guidance and support to deliver high-quality programmes.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements, including driving children to and from activities when necessary.
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment that promotes learning, creativity, and fun.
- Monitor programme budgets and resources to ensure efficient utilisation.
- Comply with all safeguarding policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, teaching, nannying or similar roles involving children.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and execute diverse activities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is desirable but not essential.
- Valid driving licence with experience in transporting children safely is preferred.
- Ability to engage children in a variety of educational and recreational activities.
- Flexibility to work during afterschool hours as well as during holiday periods.
- A caring attitude with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about child development and creating enriching experiences for young learners while ensuring their safety and happiness during programme hours.
Pay: £20,420.00-£25,148.53 per year
