Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Operative to join our professional team. We are an established welding/fabrication company and we are hoping to find someone experienced in steel erection and sheeting, but also dynamic enough to carry out any other site work required, we also do Fencing, fire access staircases, and other assorted activities. Groundwork experience would be an advantage
Fabrication experience would be an advantage. IPAF, PASMA and telehandler training would be beneficial but training can be given. Due to work on military sites, no criminal record is essential due to security clearance requirements.
Please note: there are often early starts, and as such, a local commute is recommended
Duties
- Assist the existing site team with all ongoing work
- Travelling over a large area of the country
- Work on Military sites, Security vetting will be necessary
- Steel erection and sheeting
- Security fencing including razor wire fitting
- Steelwork repairs
- Steel door fitting
Experience
- Previous experience is essential, we are hoping for you to be able slot straight into an existing team
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong health and safety mindset, training would be an advantage.
