Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Craft a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks, with precision and flair.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar areas, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service that enhances the guest experience.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and notifying management of shortages or issues.
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures diligently to promote a safe environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting as a chef or bartender is preferred; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Experience with the Marston's food menu is ideal.
- Proven experience of lone manning.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in sanitation.
- Skilled in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks, garnishing, and handling bar equipment safely.
- Ability to serve guests professionally with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, measuring ingredients, and managing inventory.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service times.
