At NCHA, we believe every young person deserves the support and encouragement to achieve their goals and build a brighter future.
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team at Branching Out South. You'll work alongside young people aged 16-21, helping them develop the confidence, skills and independence they need to thrive and move on to permanent accommodation.

Ideal candidate
We're looking for someone who is positive, resilient and passionate about supporting young people. Change can sometimes be hard so you could face behaviours that challenge, your patient and assertive nature will make sure this doesn’t escalate and make sure there are positive outcomes consistently.
You'll have experience of working with young people, either professionally or in a voluntary capacity, alongside an understanding of the challenges they may face. You'll be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
You'll also have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Basic IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
