Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for refining and finishing stone worktops to a high standard of quality. This role involves working with various tools and techniques to achieve a polished, professional finish on products, ensuring they meet strict specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinding equipment, and polishing machines to smooth and finish surfaces.
- Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise finishing of components.
- Use tooling and fixtures to hold parts securely during polishing processes.
- Perform basic assembly tasks as required, ensuring parts are correctly aligned and finished.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to verify quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, grinding, polishing, or related manufacturing roles.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tooling used in polishing processes. .
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Warehouse experience or assembly background is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
