Viva Music Academy is a growing music academy based at the historic Pear Mill in Stockport.
We are creating a warm, inspiring and creative environment where students of all ages can develop their musical skills, confidence and lifelong passion for music.
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic self-employed music tutors to join our growing community.
Who We're Looking For
We would love to hear from tutors who:
- Have a passion for music and music education
- Hold Grade 8 or above in the instrument(s) they teach, or have extensive professional performance experience
- Enjoy teaching children, teenagers and adults
- Have previous experience teaching children, which would be an advantage
- Feel confident teaching one-to-one lessons and small groups
- Can adapt lessons to different ages, abilities and learning goals
- Demonstrate a friendly, reliable and professional approach
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to undergo the appropriate DBS check before teaching
