About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skip / RoRo Driver to join our growing team. The role involves the safe and efficient delivery, exchange, and collection of skips and roll-on roll-off containers across commercial and domestic sites.
You will be representing the company on-site, so a professional attitude and strong customer service skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, exchange, and collect skips and RoRo containers in a safe and timely manner
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
- Ensure all loads are secure and comply with transport regulations
- Complete all required paperwork accurately (delivery notes, waste transfer notes, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients on-site
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site rules
- Work closely with the transport team to ensure efficient scheduling
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving skips and/or RoRo vehicles preferred
- Good knowledge of local road networks (Greater Manchester area)
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in the waste management industry
- Experience with hook loader (RoRo) vehicles
- Good understanding of waste types and segregation

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays as required)
- Early starts typical

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
