We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on an ongoing project with United Utilities, one of the UK's most respected utility companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers who take pride in safety, reliability, and working as part of a dedicated logistics team.
Pay: Days £16.78 Lates shift 19.91
Your Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum tankers for the safe transport of liquid cargo between designated sites
- Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure compliance with all traffic, environmental, and health & safety regulations
- Maintain professional communication with dispatchers and on-site teams
- Represent the company and client in a professional and courteous manner
- Keep the tanker vehicle clean, well-organised, and in top condition
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Previous Tanker Driving Experience is a bonus – but not essential
- Strong awareness of health & safety and a commitment to working safely
- Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
