The Role
As a Lamination Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our lamination equipment, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while meeting production schedules.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating lamination machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring production to ensure product quality and specification compliance.
- Carrying out routine quality inspections and process checks.
- Adjusting machine settings to maintain optimum performance.
- Completing production records accurately.
- Identifying and reporting equipment or quality issues promptly.
- Minimising waste and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth shift handovers and maximise production efficiency.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience operating lamination machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within flexible packaging or converting is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of quality standards and production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern
This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, providing regular extended breaks and an excellent work-life balance.
- Week 1: 5 day shifts
- Week 2: 2 day shifts
- Week 3: 5 night shifts
- Week 4: 2 night shifts
Pay is averaged across 43 hours per week, providing consistent weekly earnings.
