Full-Time Daily Nanny – Woking, Surrey
A warm and welcoming family based in Woking are seeking an experienced, caring and proactive full-time Nanny Housekeeper to join them on a long-term basis. It is particularly important to the family that their new Nanny Housekeeper has a good knowledge of the local area, enabling them to hit the ground running and quickly become an integral part of the family’s routine.
The family currently have a 20-month-old son and are expecting their second child in December. Mum will be taking approximately one year of maternity leave following the birth and will be at home during this period, so the initial focus of the role will be primarily on the care and development of their toddler. Once maternity leave comes to an end, the role will naturally evolve to include regular care of both children.
Location: Woking, Surrey
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:15–18:15
Start Date: The family are keen to have their nanny in place prior to the arrival of their second child in December, allowing time to establish routines, build a strong relationship with their eldest child, and become a settled and valued part of the family before the new baby arrives.
Duties to Include:
* Sole and shared care of the family’s children
* Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
* Supporting children’s learning and development
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
* Children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
* Toy rotation and maintaining organised children’s areas
* Nursery runs and outings as required
* Supporting family routines and schedules
* Light family meal preparation would be welcomed, although childcare will remain the primary focus of the role
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience caring for young children
* Be confident caring for a toddler and, in time, two young children
* Have a warm, engaging and proactive approach
* Be organised, reliable and able to work independently
* Hold a valid driving licence (preferred)
* Have an excellent understanding of child development
* Possess an enhanced DBS certificate and current Paediatric First Aid certificate, or be willing to obtain them
Newborn experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as Mum will be the primary caregiver for the new baby during maternity leave. The family are keen to find the right personality fit and someone who can become a valued and long-term part of their household.
This is a lovely opportunity to join a family and grow with them as their childcare needs evolve over the coming years.
Please note: This is an immediate-start position and the family are specifically seeking someone who is already based locally and has a good knowledge of the Woking area. Unfortunately, the family are unable to offer visa sponsorship, and we cannot consider applications from candidates currently living outside the UK.
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 55.0 per week
Work Location: In person
