What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering engaging lessons across KS2, KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available depending on experience), in line with the national curriculum and school expectations
- Confidently managing classroom behaviour and upholding school policies regarding safeguarding, conduct, and work standards
- Adapting to new school environments quickly and positively, while maintaining continuity for pupils
- Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership teams to ensure all students are supported effectively
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment in both mainstream and alternative provision settings
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs encouraged to apply)
- Experience teaching within Secondary education (KS2/KS3/KS4, KS5 desirable)
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and adaptive teaching
- Confidence in differentiating lessons and supporting students with additional needs
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching
- Subject specialism(s) welcomed but not essential for general cover roles
