We are looking for a work focused and Sous Chef to join the team
Must have:
A proven background in a busy kitchen
Excellent communication skills
The ability to cope calmly in a pressured environment
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
Duties
To assist in the daily managing of the kitchen and ensure a smooth food service
To prepare and cook a varied menu with consistently high standards
Ensure cost effective practices to maintain a set GP margin
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Enjoy working as part of a team to include front of house staff
You must be available to work at weekends
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
Experience:
- Chef: 2 years (required)
- Cooking: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
