Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Women's Health Physiotherapist to join our dynamic physiotherapy team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized physiotherapy services focused on women's health issues, including pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related conditions, postpartum recovery, and other related concerns. Your expertise will help empower women to achieve optimal physical health and well-being through personalized treatment plans. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing women’s health issues, including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and postpartum recovery
- Develop and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans based on individual needs and physiological considerations
- Educate patients on anatomy, physiology, and self-management techniques to promote long-term health benefits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in women’s health physiotherapy through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- HCPC and CSP Registration
- Proven experience working as a Physiotherapist with a focus on women’s health or pelvic floor therapy
- NHS experience is highly desirable, providing exposure to diverse patient populations
- Private practice experience is desirable
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to women’s health condions
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in healthcare settings for accurate documentation and communication

Salary is pro rata based on 20 hours per week
Alternative hours are considered as well as working towards full time hours as case load demands.
Self employed candidates will also be considered.
Pay: £29,850.00-£50,971.11 per year
