Summary
As a PU Technician, you’ll be working in a factory environment putting together components that will later be sold to customers. The components you make could be of high value so care and pride you in work is a must. You will need to be reliable and punctual when working so the company can adhere to production planning schedules. You must perform to high standards when working in your departments and adhere to all health and safety policies set out by the company. Your role will be to maintain the standards set in the four key responsibilities and duties below.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to production planning schedules.
- Work closely with your supervisor’s and team leaders to ensure that all products meet production standards.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness of your department and workstations.
- Ensure you follow any technical data sheets when working on components.
- Adhere to all standard of work processes which have been set out by TECNIQ.
- Cutting, manufacture and assembly of all PU parts to the correct standards in accordance with the production plan.
- Carry out quality inspections of all finished goods prior to them being passed to final assembly.
- Manufacture and assembly of PU parts to the correct standards in accordance with the production plan.
- Carry out quality inspections of all finished goods. Liaise with the supervisor or team leader with regard to any concerns or issues.
- Ensure that any issues likely to affect continuous production or assembly are reported to the PU Supervisor at the earliest opportunity.
- Maintain your job knowledge through participating in educational and training opportunities.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the PU Supervisor, Team Leader, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or the Directors.

- Familiarity with Manufacturing tools and materials.
- Be able to handle technical equipment.
