Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a confident individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or misconduct
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and orderliness
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- First aid certification is advantageous, with the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Organised, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts if required
