Salary: Dependent on age, NMWU18 (£15,435 per annum), NMW1820 (£20,934 per annum), NLW21 (£24,522 per annum)
Contract: Fixed Term for 36 Months

ork alongside experienced mechanics maintaining and repairing the Council’s diverse fleet, helping to keep essential frontline services on the road.

ur Apprenticeships combine paid employment with off the job learning and nationally recognised qualifications.

o previous experience required – if you’re enthusiastic, willing to learn and have an interest in vehicles, we’d love to hear from you. Full training will be provided.
W
hat you’ll be doing
L- earning to inspect, service and repair a wide range of Council vehicles and equipment.
C- arrying out routine maintenance and safety checks.
D- iagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
A- ssisting with MOT preparation and repairs.
M- aintaining accurate service and repair records.
F- ollowing health and safety procedures at all times.
W- orking as part of a supportive and experienced workshop team.
