OP Chocolate currently have a fantastic opportunity to become part of our team, the position we are recruiting for is an Online Quality Operator . Based in the heart of South Wales, OP Chocolate Ltd has been baking quality wafers for over 75 years.

Position: Online Quality Operative.
Shift Pattern: Days and Afternoons - rotating weekly (Monday - Thursday 6.00am -2.00pm / 2.00.pm - 10.00pm, Friday 6.00am - 1.15pm / 1.15pm - 8.30pm)
Rate of pay: £14.09
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the manufacturing and production processes
- Understanding quality standards and specifications
- Inspecting products
- Ensuring products align with company and legal standards
- Training and assisting new staff on these roles
- Multifunctional role across all departments
- Observing and following company safety regulations
- Carry out weight, metal, organoleptic and product quality checks using quality attribute and HACCP procedures
- Ensure all check- weighers and metal detection are working correctly, diagnose problems and report to key op quality department and manager
- Part of the quality role is to help to re-leave for break, packing, sapal, stamping boxes, labelling and general cleaning
- Adhere to the company Values, entrepreneurial, no-non sense, up right & reliable, enthusiasm, craftsmanship
Skills

- Previous experience working in quality role
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing industry.
