Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Thai Cuisine Ched de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Thai dishes with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with the head chef and team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained efficiently.
- Monitor and control portion sizes to minimise waste while maintaining quality.
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in plating dishes attractively for service, ensuring consistency across all plates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques.
- Experience in meal preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Previous restaurant experience is desirable, with a focus on authentic Asian cuisine.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or ingredients.
