Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, including basic food preparation and cooking when necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage stock levels, organise inventory checks, and place orders as needed
- Train new staff members in service procedures, health & safety protocols, and company policies
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
- Assist with serving drinks and food when required, demonstrating excellent hospitality skills
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health & safety guidelines
- Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and events
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in serving beverages and food in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with culinary processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Hospitality experience in hotels or similar establishments is desirable
- Barista experience or expertise in bar operations is a plus
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively
