This is an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one client, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
You will be supporting a middle-aged gentleman who enjoys music, virtual theatre performances, and interactive experiences. As part of a dedicated care team, you will play a key role in ensuring his daily needs are met while encouraging engagement in the activities he enjoys.
The successful candidate will be confident working with complex care needs, able to follow personalised care plans, and bring a positive, professional, and caring approach to every day.
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- PEG feeding
- Bowel management
- Moving and handling
- Skin integrity management
- Seizure management
- Neurological conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Awareness of Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD)
- Minimum 12 months' complex care experience
- Recent UK care experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Full right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to changes in physical or emotional wellbeing
- Comfortable using basic IT systems and care documentation
