We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected and well-established accident repair centre in Dagenham, for an experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer to join their growing team.
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £52,000 per annum
About the Role:
As a key part of the refinishing team, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing vehicles to a high standard. This includes achieving precise colour matching and flawless finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for paintwork, ensuring proper masking and surface preparation
- Mix and apply paints accurately, achieving perfect colour matches
- Spray and finish vehicles to a high standard in line with customer and company expectations
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in automotive spray painting, ideally in a bodyshop or accident repair setting
- Confident with water-based paints and colour matching techniques
- High attention to detail and a pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or ATA accreditation are preferred but not essential – experience and skill matter most
- A strong work ethic and a customer-first attitude
