Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Kitchen team. This position involves the preparation and serving of food (primarily breakfast and brunch dishes eg. Full English breakfast, Club Sandwich) within a dynamic Kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. Please note, weekend availability is essential.
Responsibilities
- Food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to specified recipes and standards
- Meal assembly and presentation (primarily breakfast and brunch dishes eg. full english breakfast, club sandwich)
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members alike
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including bank holidays or weekends if necessary
- A genuine interest in culinary arts
