Stroud District Council is an ambitious and forward-thinking local authority in the heart of the Cotswolds, proud to serve a district that is an exceptional place to live, work and visit. Sustainability, resident wellbeing and strong communities are at the centre of everything we do.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and collaborative Senior Asset Surveyor to provide technical leadership within our Damp and Mould service. - Monitor the quality and effectiveness of damp and mould remediation works and undertake follow-up inspections where required.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of damp and mould policies, procedures, service standards and management plans.
- Analyse damp and mould trends, recurring issues and property data to support a proactive and risk-based approach to prevention and intervention.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to residents, contractors, officers and senior managers on damp and mould related matters.
- Support compliance reporting, performance monitoring and assurance activities associated with Awaab's Law and wider regulatory requirements.
