Sporty Scholars is looking for lifeguards that have a passion working with and looking after children. We are looking for lifeguards to supervise swimming lessons for primary school age children at our pop up pools in primary schools in Milton Keynes, Bedford and surrounding areas
We are currently looking for Lifeguards Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm for our Pools to schools pop up pools which run 32 weeks of the year. Please only apply if you are available for these hours
We have optional hours at our Kids Holiday Camps as Activity Leaders/ Assistants these run 12 weeks a year in school holidays.
Responsibilities:
- You have a current Lifeguard qualification and be fully registered, with either a IQL National Pool Qualification (RLSS), HABC Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding (RQF) or STA Professional Award for Pool Lifeguard (RQF) qualification
- You are known for your friendly, calm and approachable nature with the ability to act quickly and effectively
- You have excellent attention to detail – nothing gets by without you noticing!
- You act safely, knowing the importance of completing safety checks and recording them accurately
- You are confident in your ability to keep our swimmers safe and happy at all times, and can quickly snap into action when required
- You are always happy to support the swim instructor in needed
