- TERM TIME Nursery Nurse qualified to level 3 or above in Early Years
35 Hours / week 8.30 am - 3.30 pm
This term time nursery is a small setting with no more than 20 children a day based in a Community Centre alongside a Doctors Clinic. The role is suitable for someone who would like to achieve a work life balance whilst managing a career that also has progression opportunities.

Duties
Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education during term time.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies, maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
Coordinate staff rotas, recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
Monitor the nursery environment to ensure it is safe, welcoming, and conducive to learning
Foster a positive team culture through effective communication, leadership, and motivation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 in Early Years and Education is essential
- Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and motivate a team
- .Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or early childhood education roles.
- Current Pediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection Certificates
- Experience of local authority funding applications is desirableKnowledge of current regulations and best practices in early years provision.
- Must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate (this will be re-validated)
- SENCO Experience is desirablePrevious experience of leading on OFSTED inspections is desirable
Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
