We’re Plates, a new, independent, family-run café and wine bar coming to Hillsborough this September.
By day, we’ll be serving brunch, great coffee and fabulous food. By night, we’ll become a fun wine and cocktail bar, serving a thoughtfully created menu and great drinks in a relaxing atmosphere.
We’re now building our opening kitchen team and are looking for passionate people at all levels to join us from the very beginning to help us make Plates something really special. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from day one!
Who we’re looking for:
Junior / Commis Chefs - Perfect for someone looking to develop their skills, learn from an experienced team and grow in their career.
Chef de Parties - Confident, organised chefs who can take ownership of their section and deliver great food during busy service. (Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.)
Sous Chefs - Strong, hands-on chefs who can support the Head Chef, help lead the kitchen and play a key role in developing the team and food offering. ( min 2 years experience in a busy kitchen environment, with knowledge of all sections and experience of different styles of cooking.)
Whatever your level, we’re looking for people who genuinely love food, work well as part of a team and are excited by the opportunity to help build something new.
