Level 3 Nursery Practitioner- Salary is dependent on experience.
Our client is looking for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team and provide high-quality care, learning, and support to children within their nursery setting.
This nursery is based in Walthamstow E17 and is a warm, welcoming and friendly setting where children are supported to learn, grow and thrive in a nurturing environment. The dedicated team creates a positive atmosphere where every child is valued, encouraged and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be passionate about early years education, have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, and be committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
· Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning, development, and individual needs.
· Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
· Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
· Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to individual learning journeys.
· Ensure children’s health, safety, and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
· Carry out daily routines including mealtimes, nappy changes, toileting support, sleep routines, and personal care where required.
· Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment through play-based activities.
· Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and curiosity.
· Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriately.
· Maintain accurate records, including observations, registers, and developmental updates.
· Work effectively as part of a nursery team to provide consistent and high-quality care.
· Communicate professionally with parents and carers, sharing updates on children’s progress and wellbeing.
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
