HOURS 9.30 to 3.30 TUESDAY TO SATURDAY
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Café All-rounder to join our privately owned cafe. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffees and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience, maintaining food safety standards, and working collaboratively with colleagues to create a warm atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Washing up and cleaning
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling payments using the till.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with general duties around the café.
- Uphold high standards of presentation and customer service to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Previous barista experience is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods without compromising quality.
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for handling cash transactions and balancing tills.
- Strong organisation skills to maintain cleanliness and stock levels effectively.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
